Shamanic Energy Healing always occurs in Sacred Space, a healing sphere in which we can access the energy of spirit and the healing power of love
We can create sacred space and summon the healing power of nature anywhere on Earth. The power of our Nature parents and spirits, the elements, Spirit, and our Helping Allies are always available and when we call them in we are acknowledging them and working in collaboration with them. Sacred space gives us access to the Luminous Healers, the medicine men and women who assist us from the Spirit world and our Helping Allies. When we open sacred space, we are protected and we leave behind the affairs of ordinary life, the bustling world of meetings and schedules, and prepare to meet the Divine.
We are not actually creating Sacred Space but rather acknowledging the Sacred that is always present with our prayers and invocations. We call on our Nature Parents and Nature Spirits, compassionate helping spirits, spirits of the sun, moon, sky and earth, spirits of the land, and our helping ancestors. As a practitioner, my prayers will also invoke your Nature parents and spirits to assist in your healing.
When we call in the helping spirits, we do so by decree, acknowledging them, being grateful for their assistance, and partnering with them. This is different than asking for the spirits to help us or rescue us as a supplicant.
